The final time the team travelled through the mountains was in November. The weather had been getting progressively worse for the last few weeks. s the team drove down to Manilla a thunderstorm swept over the mountains and immediately opened up, the road conditions quickly deteriorated and visibility done to 5 meters. leaving the team no choice other than to turn the music up and press on.
